Committees are the gears and cogs of the band – they get the band’s work done. Our band wouldn’t function without them.
Band Aids
Who are the volunteers who walk with the band in parades – the ones who pass water to our hard work musicians? Who are the volunteers who work the ticket table, hand out programs and usher guests/patrons to their seats? They are our beloved Band Aids. We love them. If you can’t play an instrument, you can be instrumental in making the band look and sound great. Please join our Band Aid team.
Resources Committee
The resources the band needs to function and grow are numerous and varied. Yes, we need cash donations; we also need instruments. We also need access to fun gigs, promotional opportunities and potential members. We need your help. Join us.

12″ voices are not allowed here. Did we mention we like to play music? We wouldn’t be able to without the help and organization of our librarians.

Membership
Meet and greet! We want to make sure our new members are comfortable and feel at home. Don’t know when the next rehearsal is? Wish you knew the name of the trumpet player next to you? How much are dues and what’s it going to? These geeks hold the knowledge.
Street Team
Purchasing advertising space is costly! That’s why we depend on our street team to run out to the public and spread our name. These social butterflies drop postcards off at the local coffee shops, put up posters on public bulletin boards and promote band performances all over the web.
Social
Someone once called us the Band Geek Mafia because we’re one giant family. When we’re not busy rehearsing, the social committee organizes events for us.
